Wilson House, Imperial College

Number of modules – 104

A new accommodation block to the rear of the existing facilities, providing 86 en-suite student bedrooms along with communal kitchen and living spaces.

The project was complex due to the listed status of Wilson House Terrace, the location within a conservation area and the adjacent 30 properties having protected rights of light and party wall restrictions.

The scheme extends the facilities by 1,800m2, with accommodation and associated communal areas over three storeys. The external cladding was carefully selected to blend in with the surrounding buildings.
